Indian movies have definitely improved the conditions of our cinemas. But some actors do not agree. Nadeem is one of the most senior artists of Lollywood. His recent movie Khulay Aasman Ke Neechay could not collect as much as was expected and this he thinks is due to the showcasing of Indian movies simultaneously in the cinemas.Nadeem has demanded a ban on the release of Indian films in Pakistan. Talking to The Media he said why Indian movies should be shown in Pakistan when quality films can be made in the country.

Show of Indian movies in the country would only lead to huge loss since they have their own specific culture, he added. However Nadeem said co-productions should be allowed if the collaboration was at equal level.

He said people have started ignoring the country's film industry and their interest has been increasing towards Indian movies which was devastating for Pakistan film industry.

He appealed the government to put a ban on Indian films so that Pakistani film industry could stand once again.

The ban on Indian movies would not only revive the cinema. What we need is hard work, improved methods and decent artists. So Nadeem we think you should reconsider what you said.
